Our Journey

At The Summer House, we began as a modest family farm with the dream of creating a breathtaking venue for unforgettable celebrations. Over the years, we have transformed the property into a premier wedding destination that embodies natural beauty and timeless elegance. Our dedication to excellence and personalised service has made us a beloved part of countless love stories.

2019

The build of

The Summer House

A vision from 2016, finally transformed into a digger on a hill, unearthing a grand dream. In this year we committed to the effort and brought it to life.

2019-2022

The Growing Stage

We hosted our first wedding in 2019, which was followed by a series of weddings throughout the summers. During this time, we created mental notes about areas that required improvement and envisioned the potential growth of our business.

2022

Saturday Sessions

We launched our Summer House Saturday Sessions, showcasing the finest food carts and music in the perfect location. This was a small dream we wanted to explore, and it’s something we intend to bring back in the future.

2024

Accessibilty Renovations

It was time for some minor enhancements to ensure that all our guests enjoyed complete accessibility at our venue. A few ramps, along with an accessible toilet and dressing room, helped create a seamless experience throughout the space.

2025 - future

Full Revamp

Here we are, nurturing our business through the seasons, turning it into the grand treasure we envisioned. We’ve come up with some fantastic ideas to enhance our bar areas, eliminate the troublesome gravel that posed problems during rainy weather, and implemented stunning design concepts that have transformed our venue into the premium destination we always aimed for.

Helen Davis

Helen has maintained a close relationship with the Harris family for many years. It only makes sense to harness her expertise and warm heart at the forefront of this remarkable family business. She is our go-to person for staff support, professionalism, and the mastermind behind the vibrant, energised bar. She ensures that every guest feels right at home.

Coordinator & Stylist

Emily Gray

Emily joined our team in early 2024, bringing her delightful expertise in Planning, Styling, and Coordinating. As a valuable part of our group, we have implemented some remarkable enhancements to the venue. On your special day, Emily will be your coordinator, working behind the scenes to guarantee that your wedding is a wonderfully seamless and an enjoyable occasion.
